I've come to believe that Seattle is one of America's best kept secrets especially when it comes to night life and some of the events you can find going on around Seattle. When I first got here I didn't know what I was going to do with myself especially coming from New York. My expectations were low...very low but not only have I found a culture of people who like to dress (not the majority but they are here). There are also a number of great places to go out to eat, drink and have a great time with friends. On this night a few weeks ago (a Sunday night at that) we found ourselves popping from one event to the next right in downtown Seattle. For me downtown Seattle is kind of like Manhattan in the sense that I don't like to leave Manhattan! When someone invites me to an event in a place like Kent or Tacoma, if it's not as big as Watch The Throne I'm not going. And yes I did drive all the way to Tacoma to see Watch The Throne. A true New Yorker and hip hop lover wouldn't have missed that. Now on this Sunday night in June, my wife and I started our evening at a club downtown called Pink located in Pacific Place for a Neodandi Fashion Show. It was a kick off celebration of The Road to NY Fashion Week. So here are some shots of fashionable people enjoying Neodandi House of Couture designs. Check out her website at www.neodandi.com. She has some beautiful works of art she has worked very hard on. Neodandi believes in health and well being by creating a process of design focusing on individual strength.

From there we caught up with Leon, Rah and Aiyana at the Triple Door for an evening with Paula Boggs and her band. Most of you are saying "Who is Paula"? She served in the military for a number of years and after tiring she then worked as a lawyer for the Clinton Administration. From there she worked at Starbucks as the GC and then retired from there to now work on the Obama re-election campaign. Ms. Boggs will be based in Seattle and Santa Fe and work for the campaign in communities across the country. In 2010, Obama appointed Boggs to the White House Council for the Community Solutions, which has worked on community-developed solutions to youth development, education and employment. We enjoyed the food, drinks and hanging with friends with Paula Boggs great band playing all night. It was a pleasure to meet this incredible woman who was also very kind....AND TALENTED!

Aren't they cute together. Now drive home safe! And of course, Thank You 4 Dressing.
